Do NOT Toy With Marc Garneau!

Marc Garneau reads aloud his outrage as Dion and Bennett muster their
best attempt at displaying interest for the parliamentary camera.
Liberal MP David McGuinty just wants to go home already.
Every now and again, the House of Commons deals with an issue that transcends party lines. Every MP puts partisan politics aside for a moment and they do what's good for the whole country regardless of ideology. These issues pertain to our humanity, to our core beliefs that we want to live in a better world as we consider our legacy for the next generation of Canadians.

...And then there's yesterday when Marc Garneau complained about his toys.

A package of toy space shuttles were sent to Marc Garneau's former office currently occupied by NDP MP Jonathan Tremblay. An NDP staffer opened the package - whether this package was addressed to Garneau himself is in question - and were then given away.

I can sympathize with Garneau's irritation that the toys he intended to give out at a charity event had been mistakenly distributed by another politician. Jonathan Tremblay admitted that the toys had been handed out already.

Most would chalk it up to a mistake being made and cooler heads would look to rectify the problem by working something out as two civilized adults are expected to do.

Not this Liberal Party.

No.

Not this time.

The gloves are off.

This... THIS is war!

This was a "serious offence against dignity", "clear contempt of Parliament", "theft" and an "offence against common decency" says Garneau!

Looks like the Liberal Party of Canada revival is taking place with outraged hyperbolic delusions.
